06/21/2009 Displaced update AND gymnastics

I have had a few people email me privately asking where I have ended up at night. So, I have made peace with staying in Paul's room for now but he is in his big boy bed and I am on the floor on the - Yes - crib mattress. But - I have made a mommy length bed by adding a rocker cushion which is about the same depth - and putting it at the end of the crib mattress. I had a friend once tell me to do what I need to do to get sleep at night. This is what is working. Paul has never slept alone and while he is adjusting to a big boy bed I am close by. Lacie is LOVING having her own room and bed. I have been proud of her.

OK - I have a lot of updates and have been real busy outside of blogging (imagine that.) So my time blogging has slowed down some. I can say right now that my kids are still amazingly awesome. They are becoming very good friends and just love each other. No, I am not in denial - I will admit that Paul clobbers Lacie regularly and Lacie loves to run and tattle. I told her today that she needed to worry about herself. She said, "that is what my teacher said." I hate to think my child is the class tattler.

Lacie has decided to take swimming lessons. She loves the water. She is a slow learner though cause she does not want to put her face in the water. So we have her in a group class and a private class once a week. We have Paul doing Gymnastics. He LOVES it and seems to really take to it. When I was little I always wanted to take dance lessons or gymnastics and never did. So I am living through my children now. Lacie did gymnastics when she was 3 years - but wanted to try swimming this year.

Here are some pics of my boy in his gymnastics class. It is a parent participation class until they turn 3.

Blessings!
